Professional Bio:
Franklin L. Friedman received a BS in 1965 from the Northwestern University School of Business with a major in accounting and finance. In 1968, Frank earned a JD at the Northwestern University School of Law where he served as a member of the Law Review.

A founding partner of The Friedman Legal Group, Frank brings to the Firm almost four decades of in depth experience in all aspects of real estate law, including complex acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, construction, development, zoning and environmental transactions.

Prior to joining The Friedman Legal Group, Frank was a managing partner in the Chicago law firm of Greenberger, Krauss & Jacobs, Chartered where he maintained a national real estate practice.

Professional Bio:
Matt earned his BBA from the University of Michigan, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with highest distinction, and received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Matt Friedman concentrates his practice in real estate and corporate law and is one of the firm's founding Partners.

Matt's real estate practice includes leasing, acquisition, disposition, financing, real estate tax, zoning and construction matters.  He has negotiated with and represented landlords, tenants, developers, municipalities, lenders, property owners, architects, insurance companies and general contractors.

Matt's work also includes business entity selection and formation and drafting and negotiating corporate, partnership and limited liability company documents.

Prior to joining The Friedman Legal Group, Matt was an associate with the firm of Piper Marbury Rudnick and Wolfe.

Professional Bio:
A founding Partner of The Friedman Legal Group, David practices corporate law and real estate law. He has diverse experience in corporate governance, corporate and real estate finance, commercial leasing matters, and real estate acquisition and disposition.

With a keen understanding of today's business world, David dissects, analyzes and crafts creative solutions to the complex issues facing his clients. David's real estate practice has included representing lenders and borrowers in connection with loans, landlords and tenants in leasing matters involving an aggregate of over 2,000,000 square feet of retail, office and industrial space, and sellers and purchasers of real estate in acquisition, disposition and development transactions. His corporate practice has involved advising clients in connection with venture capital, private equity, lending, and general corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining The Friedman Legal Group, David was a Partner in the Corporate Practice Group and the Real Estate Practice Group at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP.
